Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving any concerns professionally
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via OpenTable or other reservation systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting in food preparation when needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold food safety standards
• Support host/hostess duties as needed, including seating guests and managing waitlists during busy hours

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Experience with food industry standards including serving, food preparation, bussing, and guest services
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Background in hospitality or customer service roles that emphasize guest relations and positive interactions
